Shopify
Shopify stores connect directly through the API connection: products and collections, orders (status, shipment tracking, customer phone) and customers sync regularly on a schedule.
About the connector
Section titled “About the connector”- It uses the Shopify GraphQL Admin API (API version
2026-07). There is no OAuth redirect; it works with the store’s own app. - Two ways to authenticate: the Client ID + Client secret of a Dev Dashboard app (the token is obtained with the client credentials grant, is valid for about 24 hours and renews itself), or the Admin API access token (
shpat_…) of a custom app created in the Shopify admin before 1 January 2026. - The store address must be
name.myshopify.com(not your custom domain); requests only go to that address. - Shopify’s query cost limit is tracked; if the bucket is short the connector waits for the required time and throttled requests are retried. If a response contains any error the query counts as failed, so a full sync never deletes records based on partial data.
- Console fields: Store address, Client ID, Client secret, Admin API access token. Either the token or the client ID + secret pair is required.
The steps and verification flags below are taken one-to-one from the preset the product shows in the setup wizard. A step or fact marked Not verified in the docs could not be confirmed in the platform’s public documentation; check it in your admin panel.

What is verified
Each fact below was either confirmed in the platform's public documentation or not. Unverified facts are still usable, but check them in the preview before relying on them.
- ✓ Verified in the docs API
- ✓ Verified in the docs authentication
- ✓ Verified in the docs order statuses
- ! Not verified in the docs feed URL
- ! Not verified in the docs file format
- ! Not verified in the docs record path
- ! Not verified in the docs field names
- ! Not verified in the docs webhooks
- ! Not verified in the docs admin menu paths
API connectionrecommended
- New setup: create an app in the Shopify Dev Dashboard (dev.shopify.com), select the read_products, read_inventory, read_orders and read_customers scopes on the app version and install the app on your store.
- Enter the Client ID and Client secret from the app's Settings page in the wizard form. The access token is renewed automatically every day.
- If you have a custom app created in the Shopify admin before 1 January 2026, you can use its Admin API access token (shpat_…) instead; no Client ID/secret is needed then.
- Enter the store address as name.myshopify.com (not your custom domain), save and press 'Test connection'.
- Shopify only returns the last 60 days of orders unless the app also has the read_all_orders scope.
XML-CSV link (data feed)
- Shopify has no built-in product XML URL. Paste the Google Merchant XML URL produced by a product feed app. ! Not verified in the docs
- Orders don't come through XML; use the API connection for order questions.
Push via API (Data API)
- Create the secret API key in the wizard (or Settings → API keys) and share it with your developer or integrator over a secure channel.
- The Shopify integration sends products to PUT /api/v1/catalog/products, orders to PUT /api/v1/orders and customers to PUT /api/v1/musteriler (examples on the Data API page).
- If orders include status, carrier, tracking number and the customer phone, the assistant recognises callers by phone and answers shipping questions.
Manual upload
- Export the product list as CSV or XML from your platform's admin panel.
- Upload the file in the wizard; columns are mapped automatically and you can adjust them.
- A manual upload is one-off: re-upload when prices or stock change, or switch to an XML link.
Feed template
Product feed (Google Merchant XML)
- Format
google_merchant! Not verified in the docs- URL pattern
- Not documented — copy the address from the admin panel.
- Known field names
item_ref←g:id,id,g:item_group_idurun_kodu←g:mpn,g:gtin,sku
Known field names are only applied when they actually exist in your file; an unmatched name does nothing. The mapping is always shown in the preview before anything is imported.
Order status mapping
Status values from the platform are mapped to standard short names, and then to your own status in the same group if you have one. Unknown values are left unmapped and flagged for you.
| Platform value | Standard short name |
|---|---|
pending | pending |
cash_on_delivery | processing |

Notes
The client credentials grant only works when the app and the store belong to the same Shopify organization. Requests only go to name.myshopify.com.
