CSV and file upload

To upload a file instead of using a URL, use Knowledge Sources → Import (or Manual upload in the setup wizard). An upload is one-off: re-upload when prices or stock change, or switch to a data feed.

  1. Export the product list as CSV or XML from your platform’s admin panel.
  2. Upload the file (up to 20 MB). It is parsed and the first records, the field list and the suggested mapping are shown.
  3. Adjust the mapping if needed; the preview updates without re-uploading. The uploaded sample is kept for 30 minutes.
  4. Import. Records go through the same mapping and validation as data feeds; vectors for semantic search are generated in the background.
  • CSV: UTF-8 (a BOM is fine; otherwise Windows-1254 is tried). Separator ; or ,, detected automatically. The first row is the header.
  • XML: product feeds (including Google Merchant); the record path is detected automatically.
  • JSON: an array of records or an object containing one.

Sample product CSV:

id;urun_adi;marka;kategori;fiyat;stok;url
1234;Kablosuz Kulaklık X2;Ornek;Ses > Kulaklık;1899,90;12;https://magaza.example.com/urun/x2

On Knowledge Sources → Manual entries you can write short facts the assistant should know (e.g. “No cash on delivery”). Their ids start with ek-: the Data API and full syncs never change or delete them.
