Roles, workspaces and support mode

Team members are invited from the Organization page. Each member has a role:

RoleWhat they can do
OwnerEverything
AdminSettings, integrations, API keys, webhooks, purposes, number mapping; publishing the pronunciation dictionary and ready phrases
MemberDay-to-day work: test calls, outbound call requests, request status, listening to pronunciation candidates
ViewerRead-only; can’t start calls and doesn’t see full phone numbers

Your plan’s Users limit counts members and pending invites together.

In the console you always work inside a workspace:

  • Company: the data of a company you belong to. If you belong to several, switch with the workspace picker in the top bar; each switch changes your session’s context.
  • Platform: only visible to the platform operator (the team that runs the service): companies, plans, usage and cost, provider health. The platform overview only shows cross-company totals, no customer data.

A support person can enter a company they are not a member of only in support mode:

  • Support mode is read-only by default. A banner at the top of the console shows that support mode is active.
  • To make a change, the support person opens a time-limited edit grant of 15, 30 or 60 minutes with a written reason. The grant closes automatically when time is up.
  • The reason and every action taken in support mode appear in your company’s Change History.
  • Even with an edit grant, support staff cannot: map numbers or set up the phone line, or run integration tests that mint a new access token with a stored secret.
